Just shows you how diverse and ahead of the curve Elton was back then. This song came a few years ahead of the whole Dr. John/Allen Toussaint, New Orleans revival of the 70's, but clearly inspired by Fats, Lloyd Price and all of the other early New oRleans singers. Harry Connick should cover this!

Very much so. Even though I prefer the original recording, this is great. The original had the full orchestra...horn section was superb. A nice trip down 'memory lane.'

I listened to this when I was a wee wee one (pre-schooler days)!! Used to think it was "Get back...CALL the cat" -- lol!
